HI READERS! Thank you so much for your continued support. KoKo's Kouture Closet appreciates your love and I enjoy reading your comments so KEEP THEM COMING!
During my last blog I discussed putting the perfect undergarment on under loose fitting clothes. After I posted that blog, I went on a mission and FINALLY found a cincher that came with the perfect size bra built into it. YAY ME!! I'm actually breaking it in as I type. I will tell you guys all about it in my review of it later to come. For Pt. 2 of The Skinny on Plus Size Undergarments, I want to give you the low down on LOOKING SNATCHED! What woman does not enjoy a figure clinging dress, pants that hug your curves in all the right places, a top that has the girls nice and perky, or a one piece that walks into a room before you do. Take it from someone who lives for clothes with a lot of stretch, spandex and velvet, so much that I won't buy the piece unless I can take a tug at it to confirm the stretch quality, flaunting your figure is in. NOW there are times where it is appropriate to wear looser fitting clothes, but for this post......we are going to focus on the other times. LOL!
There are items from part 1 that can be utilized with more fitting clothes as well
, like full body cinchers, spanks and leggings. However, you have to be careful with the material they are made of. Other options for undergarments seamless panties, thongs, and work out shorts.
Waiste cinchers, like spanks and leggings blur the lines of what undergarments work for what look. The key with these three items is the material they are made of. With more fitted garments, unlike looser items, panty lines, seams, zippers, and front bra clips are not only easily detectable but are down right obvious. However, because the main goal of the cincher is to tighten looser skin and keep it from giggling, many cinchers are made with bra clips in the front, going all the way from the bottom of the stomach to chest. They can also include an additional zipper layer of material for added restraint and a high cut panty look. When wearing a fitted look, STAY AWAY FROM THESE ! Take it from me, not only is the zipper line clearly visible but depending on how much of a full figure you are trying to conceal, you may end up with a high lifted, round belly . This style of cincher may give you a "5 month pregnant " roundness in your tummy area. Also, high cut panty cinchers in fitted clothes will show the entire panty line. Nobody wants to be asked if they are pregnant when they are not. I mean come on, how embarrassing is that! Id recommend wearing a body cincher that is a pull up and over, no clamping or zipping needed. Just step in and wiggle that tush on in. Id recommend getting a cincher made to resemble shorts or spanks instead of panties, and around the leg be sure the material is sheer and made of lace. This is the aspect that makes them undetectable. The lace wont roll up the thigh and is generally more comfortable than the panty cut.
Same concept with leggings and spanks. SEAMLESS IS KEY! Id recommend, always go one size up from your natural panty size to allow more space to pull the spanks or leggings past your waste line and over your stomach region. Again with spanks I recommend 2 pair at a time, so the under pair can be normal size and the second pair 1 size up. The first pair will give you the definition and the second pair will give you just enough material to cover any lining from the top of the first pair. The second can also be tucked under the bra, and because of how tight the outfit is, it should stay put.
Seamless panties and thongs are great for fitted pants with no pockets, small pockets, thin materials and of course bodysuits. They wont roll up once the bottoms are on and wont show through the material. Thongs are even great under full body waste cinchers. Since the cincher is tight, panties can be extremely uncomfortable and HOT! Wearing a thong will coat the seat of the cincher so that it can be worn multiple times before washing. Never, over wash your cincher, and never dry it. HAND WASH and AIR DRY! Machine wash and dry will ruin the overall structure of the cincher and at the cost they are, nobody wants those problems.
Work out and compression shorts and pants are another great tool for fitted clothes. They compress, are sturdy and come in thinner styles that are completely undetectable. They will cover the dimples that may be in your thighs and bottom and are comfortable to wear. The temperature friendly styles are even comfortable in warmer temperatures. They can also be washed and dried to regain there structure and are more cost friendly than waste cinchers. I have about 4 black pair myself. In fact, I have at least 3 pair of every Item I've mentioned in part 1 and part 2. I don't refer items I have not tried and liked. Every item I ever mention in my blogs come from personal experience.
Well with that being said, that's The Skinny On Plus Size Under Garments! Smooches from KoKo!!!
